Account Deletion Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-04
You can delete your Naqam account whenever you want. In the audience app it takes two taps inside the app and no email to anyone; in the Naqam Art app it is done by writing to us, because that account is tied to money owed. This page explains both routes, what is deleted, and what remains and why.
1. Deleting from inside the app
- Open Profile.
- Tap “Delete account permanently” at the bottom.
- Confirm, then enter your password.
The password is required deliberately: an unlocked phone in someone else's hands must not erase your account in two taps. Deletion is immediate — no waiting period and no reversible “deactivation”.
2. Deleting without the app
If you have removed the app or cannot sign in, write to us from the email registered on your account: info@naqam.com
We verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days at most, and confirm it to you.
3. Artist and organizer accounts
An account on the Naqam Art app is not created by its owner — we create it after verifying who they are, which is why that app has no delete button. That is deliberate: the account is tied to bookings and money owed, and a one-tap delete would erase the record of what has not been paid yet.
To request deletion, write to us from the email registered on your account at: info@naqam.com
We verify your identity, settle anything owed to or by you, then delete within 30 days at the latest and confirm it to you. The same things are deleted as for the audience: your name, email, number, photo, posts and sessions. Financial records remain, stripped of identity, as explained below.
4. What is deleted, immediately and permanently
- Your name, email, WhatsApp number and picture.
- Your password.
- Everyone you follow, everything you liked, and your ratings of artists.
- Your sessions on every device — revoked at once.
5. What remains, and why
Financial records remain, stripped of identity. A booking money was paid on, a ticket order, a ticket that walked through a door — these are accounting facts tied to entries in the platform ledger, and keeping them is a legal requirement.
- The row survives with its amounts, its dates and its ledger entries.
- And its link to you is severed: it becomes ownerless, carrying no name, no email and no number.
That is: after deletion, nobody can tell from platform data whose transaction it was.
6. What about my money?
If you have a balance owed, a booking in progress, or a ticket to a concert that has not happened, settle it before deleting — or write to us. Deleting does not cancel a financial right, but it makes reaching it slower, because we will have to verify your identity another way.
