Privacy Policy

This page describes what Naqam actually collects, where it is kept and who sees it — not what we intend to do. Every statement here matches what the system does today.
1. What you give us
What you provide:
- Your name, email and WhatsApp number — at sign-up. The number is how we verify you and how a password reset reaches you.
- Your picture, if you add one. Optional.
- Your event details when you request a booking: date, city, venue, head count and your notes.
- A photo of your transfer receipt when you pay — read only by the finance team, to match it against the bank statement.
- What you write to support and any picture you attach.
We do not ask for your location, do not read your contacts and do not read your messages. The apps request no such permissions — only the camera and photo library, and only when you choose to attach a picture.
2. What your use creates
- Who you follow and what you like — to build your home feed.
- Your bookings and tickets, with their states and dates.
- An audit trail for every booking step: who did it, when, and from which IP. Used only in a dispute, and never shown to the other party.
- A record of every ticket scan at a gate — the result and the time, refusals included.
3. Why we collect it
Each item has one specific purpose:
- To do what you asked — the booking, the payment, the ticket, the door.
- To protect both sides — holding the deposit, matching transfers, and settling disputes from a record rather than from memory.
- To tell you what concerns you — in-app notifications, and WhatsApp for anything financial or time-critical.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising outside the platform. Neither app contains any third-party tracker or analytics tool.
4. Who sees what
- The artist or organizer sees your name, your event details and your notes — not your email, your number or your IP.
- People who follow you see your name and picture only. Following is not contact details.
- The finance team sees your receipt and your amount, to match them.
- The person on the door sees your ticket number and tier when scanning — not your name or your email.
5. Where it is kept
On our servers, under these rules:
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — we cannot read them ourselves.
- Your session key on your phone lives in the system secure store (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android), not in an ordinary file a backup could copy.
- Receipts and support attachments are only ever served through a path that checks who you are first. Neither has a public link.
6. Your rights
At any time you can edit your details, change your password (which signs out all your other devices), ask for a copy of what we hold, and delete your account permanently from inside the app.
7. Children
The platform is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn of a child's account, it is deleted.
